On the afternoon of May 13th, the 17th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th Jilin Provincial People's Congress voted to pass the list of personnel appointments and removals, among which it was decided to appoint Sun Jian as the Vice Governor of Jilin Province.

Sun Jian

Sun Jian，男，1972年2月出生，江苏无锡人，经济学博士，高级工程师，1994年于北京工业大学获工学学士学位，2005年于清华大学经济管理学院获工商管理硕士学位，2016年于中国社会科学院研究生院获经济学博士学位。

Sun Jian长期在中国通用技术（集团）控股有限责任公司（以下简称“通用技术集团”）及其前身之一的中国技术进出口总公司工作，先后担任过通用技术集团战略和发展总部副总经理，集团全资子公司中国新兴集团公司的副总经理，煤炭工业济南设计研究院有限公司（已更名为通用技术集团工程设计有限公司）党委书记、董事长，通用技术集团运营管理总部总经理，通用技术集团国际业务总部总经理等职。

2020年11月，Sun Jian调任吉林省工业和信息化厅厅长，后于2023年年初出任通化市委书记。今年4月，Sun Jian已任吉林省政府领导。
