China-U.S. economic and trade high-level talks are about to take place in Switzerland. These talks are held at the request of the U.S. side. People from all walks of life in the United States have criticized the U.S.'s unilateral tariff measures, believing that they are not only ineffective in solving the United States' own problems but also increase domestic inflationary pressures, weaken the U.S. industrial base, and increase the risk of a U.S. economic recession. The U.S. side should, based on the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation, resolve their respective concerns through equal dialogue and consultation with the Chinese side, and jointly promote a healthy, stable, and sustainable development of China-U.S. economic and trade relations, injecting more certainty into the world economy.
