Li Junfeng, deputy general manager of Chengdu International Railway Train Co., Ltd., said that currently, Chengdu International Train has connected 117 overseas cities. Goods can reach the hinterland of Europe in as short as 11 days and Southeast Asia in 3 days.

Recently, a train carrying a batch of Vietnam tea left the Chengdu Railway Container Central Station and headed for Europe.

"We used to take 30 to 40 days to ship goods from Vietnam to Europe. Now we adopt intra-regional international transit through the Comprehensive Protection Zone, which simplifies the operation process and improves customs clearance efficiency. The overall transit time for goods has been reduced to 20 days. It allows tea to maintain its freshness and quality when it reaches the European market." Liu Hui, Southwest Regional Operations Manager of Chengdu Dayang Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., the cargo owner, said.

"China-Europe trains provide us with better routes and ports." Liu Hui introduced that the company currently ships 80 containers of goods from Vietnam to Europe every month. The improvement of transportation efficiency has increased the company's cargo turnover rate and ensured that export orders are completed on time.

The reporter learned that efficient organization and diversified products are important reasons why China-Europe freight trains are increasingly favored by international companies.

On September 28, Kefu's nasal spray pharmaceutical products arrived in Chengdu from Lodz, Poland via the China-Europe train in just 14 days. This is also the first order of imported medical products transported by the Chengdu International Train "Cold Chain Train".
