According to China Customs data, in March 2023, China exported 151,301.77 tonnes of titanium dioxide (TiO2), up by 4.31% YoY; the average export price was USD2,197.19 /t, down by 27.75% YoY.
In Jan.–March 2023, China's export volume of TiO2 was 437,127.95 tonnes, up by 12.65 % YoY. In this period, export prices averaged USD2,138.25/t, down by 29.09% YoY.
In terms of import, in March 2023, China imported 4,679.41 tonnes of TiO2, down by 63.60% YoY; the average import price was USD3,741.52 /t, up by 7.77% YoY.
In Jan.–March 2023, China's import volume of TiO2 was 13,155.21 tonnes, down by 64.25% YoY. In this period, import prices averaged USD3,740.96/t, up by 10.80% YoY. The import volume in Jan.–March 2023 decreased YoY is mainly due to poor domestic demand and high prices of imported TiO2.
